Hi, I’m Geri and I am glad you’re here,

For as long as I can remember I’ve been fascinated by people. What shapes us, what holds us back, and why anxiety and self-doubt can sometimes start to take up far more space in our lives than we want them to, even for people who have always been used to coping.

At 38 I reached a point where the weight of everything I had been carrying for years could no longer be ignored. What I had always managed to push through suddenly felt too heavy to hold on my own.

Therapy became a turning point. It helped me begin to understand the beliefs, expectations and patterns that had quietly shaped my life.

Realising how powerful that kind of understanding can be changed the direction of my life and ultimately led me to retrain as a psychotherapist.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years working in people-focused roles across HR, consultancy and talent development, supporting individuals and teams through pressure, change and personal challenges.

Today, after over 1500 hours working with clients, I help people understand their anxiety, reconnect with themselves, and build the self-trust needed to lead their lives with greater clarity and confidence.

As a former Senior Leader and now a Psychotherapist, I understand how much people quietly carry while trying to keep everything together. When people feel supported and mentally stronger, the ripple effect is powerful. Healthier cultures develop, teams grow stronger and workplaces become places where people can genuinely thrive.

My passion for emotional wellbeing and self-awareness comes from both lived experience and professional training.

Before qualifying as a psychotherapist and counsellor, I spent years working in senior people development and wellbeing roles across the UK, helping individuals, leaders, and teams through change, stress, and emotional challenges.

I went on to complete a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Keele University, alongside extensive clinical training, to deepen my ability to support emotional wellbeing on a more personal level.
