About Geri
Hi, I’m Geri — psychotherapist, anxiety specialist, and founder of Clear Mind Therapy & Wellbeing. I support adults who feel anxious, stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. My approach combines evidence-based therapy with a calm, thoughtful space to help you make sense of what you’re feeling and get back to who you are. Sessions are available online across the UK or in person from my peaceful therapy space in Staffordshire.

Why I do this work
I’ve sat on both sides of the therapy room. I know what it’s like to live with anxiety, complex trauma, and emotional burnout. And I also know the relief that comes when you finally feel understood, supported, and seen. My own healing journey showed me that many of the patterns we repeat come from trying to live up to an image of who we think we should be — often shaped by early influences, expectations, and self-protection. That gap between who we are and who we feel we need to be can leave us anxious, disconnected, and never quite enough. Therapy helps to gently close that gap — so we can feel more whole, more worthy, and more like ourselves again.
Many of the people I work with are facing a crossroads in life. They might be questioning their purpose, their identity, or the roles they’ve been playing for years. These are big, brave questions — and they deserve time, space, and compassion. Therapy offers a place to explore all of that safely.
My style is warm, honest, and grounded in both evidence and empathy. I don’t do surface-level fixes. I walk beside you as we explore what’s really going on underneath — and how you can start to feel more in control, more connected, and more like yourself again.
A little About Me
I’m a mum, a wife, and share my life with three very cheeky dogs. I spend as much time as I can outdoors — walking in nature or off on campervan adventures with the kids. I also love reading and writing, and find those quiet creative moments help me reconnect with myself.
For me, there’s real freedom in showing up as your full self — no masks, no filters. But I also know it’s not always easy. Life, anxiety, and past experiences can make it hard to trust yourself or feel safe being seen.
Learning to become the expert on who I am has been the most powerful shift of my life. Unpicking trauma, understanding anxiety, and learning how to truly reconnect with myself changed everything. It’s this deeply empowering experience that I now share through my work — helping others find their way back to themselves, one brave step at a time.

What I Offer
Many of the clients I work with experience anxiety not just as a racing mind, but through physical symptoms — tightness in the chest, digestive issues, trouble sleeping, or a constant sense of restlessness. These symptoms are your nervous system’s way of asking for support, not signs that something is wrong with you.
I work with adults experiencing high-functioning anxiety, panic, overthinking, burnout, emotional overwhelm and ADHD. Whether you’re here for 1:1 therapy, self-led tools, or workplace wellbeing support — you’ll find an approach that’s calm, clear, and tailored to you.
My practice combines integrative therapy, positive psychology, nervous system awareness, and psychoeducation to help you create real, lasting change. That might mean learning how to soothe anxiety in the moment — but also understanding where it comes from, and building the kind of self-trust that helps you move through life with more ease.

Counselling and Therapy services
If you’re feeling overstimulated, disconnected, or like you’ve been holding it together for too long, therapy can offer a safe place to slow down and reset. This isn’t about quick fixes — it’s about understanding yourself, learning new ways to cope, and creating a life that feels calmer, clearer, and more your own.

The leader who leads from their authentic self doesn’t need to control — they inspire.
Leading from lived experience
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years in senior HR, recruitment, and leadership roles — often being the one people turned to during times of stress, loss, or transition. I saw just how powerful it can be when people feel supported, seen, and emotionally safe — and how much this impacts not only work, but life beyond it too.
Now, I combine that experience with therapy-informed insight to support people and organisations in more human ways. Because when we lead with emotional clarity, the ripple effect doesn’t stop at the office door — it touches relationships, confidence, and how we show up in every part of our lives.

The Self-Led Life®
I believe therapy should empower you, not make you dependent on it. My aim is to help you build a toolkit you can take with you — so you feel equipped to navigate future challenges, reconnect with your values, and live a life that feels true to who you are.
This wider approach runs through everything I offer. I call it the Self-Led Life® — a framework rooted in radical self-awareness, emotional resilience, and practical tools that help you come back to yourself.
Whether I’m working with a client, teaching a course, or delivering training, the goal is always the same: helping people feel safe, seen, and strong enough to lead themselves forward.
Final words
My journey’s not finished — and neither is yours. If you’re ready to explore what might be next for you, I’d love to walk alongside you.
