About Geri

Hi, I’m Geri

Psychotherapist and founder of Clear Mind Therapy & Wellbeing. I’ve always been fascinated by human behaviour and the way we relate to ourselves and others.

After having my daughter later in life and going through some personal challenges, I started asking deeper questions: How did I get here? What do I really want?
That inner search led me to therapy — first as a client, then I was hooked. It changed everything.

Training as a Therapist was one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve made. That journey gave me the space to get to know myself on a deeper level, to heal, and to grow. Now, I help others do the same. My work is deeply rooted in self-awareness, compassion, and the belief that real magic happens when we have the courage to look within.

I work in a personalised and integrative way, tailoring therapy to your needs by drawing on CBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), and DBT. This flexible approach supports insight, resilience, and lasting change.

My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I tailor therapy to you — no one-size-fits-all here — drawing on a blend of approaches like CBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), DBT, and neuroscience-informed insights.

I believe in making therapy practical, real, and easy to understand. Whether we’re working 1:1 or you’re joining a group or course, you’ll walk away with tools you can actually use in everyday life — not just theory.

I offer individual therapy, group workshops, and online learning experiences that support you in building self-awareness, reducing anxiety, and feeling more confident in yourself and your choices.

When was the last time you truly paused and looked inward?

Have you ever taken a moment to sit with yourself — to explore that inner nagging, the quiet sense that something’s missing, or a pull towards something more meaningful?

Most of us aren’t taught how to question ourselves or tune into our inner world.
We’re told to keep going, stay busy, or focus on fixing the outside. It’s often only when anxiety shows up or we feel overwhelmed and burnt out that we start to notice the signs — the tension, the exhaustion, the quiet feeling that something’s off.

And even then, no one tells us there’s more we can explore.

But there is more….

When you understand who you are and what shaped you, you open the door to real insight. Self-awareness helps you recognise hidden patterns, manage stress, rebuild self-esteem, and reconnect with your values.

Therapy isn’t just about the past — it’s about building emotional strength and leading yourself with confidence.

If you’re ready to begin, my Self-Awareness Is Your Superpower guide is the perfect first step.
It’s a therapist-crafted tool to help you understand yourself more deeply — one powerful insight at a time.

WHY I BELIEVE WE NEED TO KNOW WHO WE ARE?

Self-awareness isn’t about bashing the past — it’s about gently exploring the experiences, beliefs, and unspoken rules that have shaped who we are.
It’s not about blame. It’s about clarity. When we understand what we’ve absorbed — from our upbringing, our environment, and the world around us — we can begin to see what’s actually helping us… and what’s holding us back.

We’ve all been collecting data our whole lives — about who we’re supposed to be, how we’re meant to behave, and what makes us “good enough.” The problem is, we rarely stop to question any of it.

That’s where self-awareness comes in.
It helps us get curious. To notice our triggers, spot unhelpful thought patterns, and understand how we truly operate — so we can take care of ourselves better and lead with intention, not autopilot.
